National Biomechanics Day
To celebrate the annual National Biomechanics Day, Harvard robotics labs including the Slade Lab, Biodesign Lab, BIONICs Lab, and Move Lab invite local high school students to learn about biomechanics and robotics. Students tour motion capture labs and learn about how we use motion capture and measurement systems to carry out cutting-edge research in our labs. Harvard clinical researchers engage students in discussions on prototyping assistive devices and responsible research practices. Students also take part in a design challenge to build their own prosthetic limbs!
